Lamb Dips His Toes in the Sand After Retirement

Mr. Lamb fist-bumps FHS student Ben Smith.

Mr. Lamb is an Art teacher here at Farmington High School. I asked him questions about his life and what he’s doing in the future, here are his responses:

How long have you been teaching at FHS?
I have been teaching for 28 years.

What is your favorite part/most rewarding part of teaching?
My relationships with the students over the years.

If you weren’t a teacher what would your job be?
I would be a Financial Advisor.

Have you always liked art?
I have Liked/Suffered/Hated Art.

When did you start coaching softball at FHS?
I started coaching Softball about 6 years ago and basketball about 16 years ago.

Where did you go to high school?
Farmington High School

What sports did you play in high school?
I participated in football, basketball, and track.
What was your favorite subject in high school?
Lunch

What’s your plan for after retirement?
I plan to move to Florida and become a financial advisor.

How many kids do you have?
I have 4 boys, Ian, Evan, Eli, Alec….. and 1 dog, Mia (my favorite)

Hello Farmington Knights!  My name is Emily Moriarty and I am currently a Sophomore at Farmington.  I am a member of BKMB and other band classes.  I am a member of the High School swim team and have been swimming competitively since I was 4.  This is my first year I’ve taken journalism and I’m excited to learn more about how to engage my fellow Knights through my writing!
