Have you ever wondered how you should spend the extra seven hours you get on a snow day? The day seems so long without school, but the hours pass by quickly. There are so many things you could do: catch up on homework (gross), sleep, watch movies, or make hot cocoa. Here’s a full list of things you can do on a snow day:
- Make Christmas cookies

- Take pictures in the snow
- Get in a quick work out
- Catch up on laundry
- Clean the house – your parents will love it!
- Do a face mask or give yourself a pedicure
- Meal prep for the rest of the week

I asked a few people what their favorite thing to do on a snow day is. Anthony Meister said that his favorite thing to do is sleep for extended periods of time. Isaac Tinnin and Carson Hull’s favorite thing to do is do doughnuts in the snow, and Caleb Pfeifer loves to drift on gravel roads. Mary Caroline Harness said her favorite thing to do is watch movies. Jenna Nguyen’s favorite thing to do is take pictures of her dog in the snow. No matter what you do, make sure to stay safe and have fun!
