What made you go into teaching?
“Decided Pharmacy school wasn’t for me (after 3 years) and I’ve always liked to read and write and education allowed me to do something with my English Degree.”
Did you always plan on being a teacher?
“I had no idea of what I was going to do. I liked working in the restaurant and catering business and had the chance to take over a landscaping company but I guess teaching was my fate.”
What kind of a student were you in high school?
“I was the student who got more Bs than As but more Bs than Cs.”
If you were not a teacher, what would you be?
“If i was not a teacher, I would probably be a small business owner.”
What are some of your hobbies?
“I fish, hunt, garden and now I am a grandpa!”
What is your favorite menu item at FHS?
“I can’t think of a meal at FHS that I don’t like. Our kitchen folks do a phenomenal job.”
