Were you involved in any extracurricular activities in high school? I was involved with everything but sports. I was in choir, band, cheerleading, scholar bowl, theater, history club, and FCCLA.
What are some of your hobbies? I love to craft: painting, sewing, and crochet. I do theater and I love to sing and read.
What made you go into teaching? I tried several other careers and I always came back to wanting to teach.
If you were not a teacher, what would you be? I would finish my chemistry degree, and/ or do something with Theatre/ or maybe I’d run for a political office. I love civics.
What kind of a student were you in high school? I was a teacher’s pet. I LOVE to be in the classroom. I like to learn for the sake of learning.
What class do you like to teach more Cinema and literature or stage makeup? I have more education in makeup, I was a cosmetologist and makeup artist for about 15 years.
Do you like to be a part of the debate team? I am very new to Debate. I am still learning. I inherited it with the Theatre Director position, but I am a quick learner, and I like to keep up with the news.
