Knights vs Blackcats

On January 24th, the Black Knights of Farmington High School faced off against the Fredericktown Blackcats in a game of boys basketball. The Farmington boys were able to emerge victorious, behind the efforts of JP Ruble. After a back and forth bout toward the end of the game, the Knights ended up winning the game with a final score of 51-48. The game was tied going into the final seconds, when JP Ruble took the gutsy 3 pointer to win the game. This three put JP at 14 points. Along with Ruble, some other notable contributers were Jonah Burgess with 16 points, Bracey Blanton with 6 points, and Isaiah Robinson with 6 points. Ruble was also given the Applebee’s player of the game award for his performance. This conference win was very crucial for their seeding in the conference tournament, and the Knights will look to build off of their recent success.
